Takayoshi Murota, better known by his stage name MURO, is a Japanese hip hop recording artist, DJ, record producer and designer. DJ MURO is a legendary figure in Japan’s vinyl scene. He epitomises the same uncompromising dedication to quality that defines Kirin Ichiban. Known as the “King of Diggin’,” DJ Muro’s extensive vinyl collection and deep appreciation for the art of music production make him a truly authentic collaborator for this project.
Frisky, the force behind Deus Records, embodies the fusion of Japanese precision and Australian creativity in Tokyo's music scene. Inspired by Japanese motorcycle culture, Deus Records has become a cultural bridge between Japan and Australia, creating a new style realm. Frisky curates experiences that resonate with the Deus community's lifestyle. In our film, Frisky shares Deus's origin story and the Japan-Australia connection.
